His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince DUBAI, October 5, 2017 – COM-IoT Technologies, the Dubai-based traffic safety and smart city solutions provider utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning technologies today announced its participation in the third cohort of the Dubai Future Accelerators program.
The Dubai Future Accelerators, launched in 2016 by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed, Ruler of Dubai, is an intensive nine-week program that brings companies and startups employing cutting-edge technologies together with government municipalities to develop future-ready solutions at a city-wide scale.
Over the course of the program, COM-IoT Technologies will be cooperating with Dubai Police to customize and optimize its two primary traffic safety solutions, Plug & Play Patrol and HORUS, and demonstrate their efficacy at city scale. The solutions utilize AI and machine learning to reduce automotive collisions, damage to property and fatalities on the road, supporting the ambitions of the recently announced UAE traffic law.
